California to Africa Peace Corp and back.

Robert Ishikawa attended Roosevelt High School in Fresno and graduated in 1969. He then attended the University of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. Mr. Ishikawa then joined the Peace Corp and worked in Benin Africa. Afterward, he attended the Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1979. He started Social Security Disability work with the Greater Bakersfield Legal Aid and then trial work at the Kern County Public Defender’s Office. In 1985, Bob moved back home to Fresno and started his private practice representing Social Security Disability claimants. During this time, Bob and his wife had fallen in love with the Monterey Peninsula and have owned a home there for over 20 years.

Dedicated staff.

Mr. Ishikawa’s staff consists of California State University Fresno graduates. Antonia Hernandez, Daniela Alba, Drew Ishikawa, and Zachery Ishikawa. Antonia has worked with Bob for 10 years and Daniela has worked for Bob for 8 years. Both are caring people and speak fluent Spanish.

Zachery Ishikawa has been practicing Social Security since 2019. He graduated at top of his class at Monterey College of Law. He is a third generation attorney, takes the time to get to know all of his clients, and will provide one on one personal legal service to all his clients. He is also proficient in Spanish.

Mr. Ishikawa and his staff believe in serving all people with dignity and respect. You did not choose or want to be disabled. You have been responsible citizens. You have paid into the system. And now the government, through the Social Security Administration, should also be responsible and uphold their end of the agreement.
